Shen Holistic Academy: Terms of Service

By accessing or using the services and courses provided by Shen Holistic Academy ("the Academy"), you ("the Student") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these terms, you must not use our services.

 

2. Course Access and Licensing

 

Upon successful enrollment and payment, the Academy grants you a non-transferable, limited, and revocable license to access the purchased course materials for your individual, non-commercial use.

  • Duration of Access: You will have access to the course content for the lifetime of the course.

  • Prohibited Use: You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, or share your course materials or login credentials with any third party. Unauthorized use is a violation of this agreement and is grounds for immediate termination of your access without a refund.

 

3. Disclaimers and No Medical Advice

 

The content in all courses provided by the Academy is for educational purposes only. It is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. We do not guarantee any specific outcomes from our courses. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are solely responsible for your choices, actions, and inactions.

  • You will not take any information from our courses as a substitute for consulting with a qualified healthcare professional.

 

4. Continuing Education Credits (CEUs)

 

  • Responsibility: While our courses are designed to be eligible for CEU credits, it is your sole responsibility to verify that a course meets the specific requirements of your state, licensing board, or professional organization before enrolling. The Academy is not responsible for the rejection of a course by a professional board if the course has not been pre-approved by the board and you submit it on your own.

  • Issuance: CEU certificates are issued upon successful completion of all course requirements, including any necessary quizzes and evaluations.

 

5. Philosophical Independence

 

Shen Holistic Academy is a platform that honors a wide range of philosophical perspectives. The views and opinions expressed by our instructors are their own and are not endorsed as the only valid approach. We encourage critical thinking and hold a space for a diversity of thought, as long as it aligns with our core ethos of reverent, nature-centered practice.

 

6. Payment and Refund Policy

 

  • Payment: All payments for courses are processed securely through our third-party provider, Kajabi. We do not store your payment information on our servers.

  • Refunds: The Academy offers a 30-day money-back guarantee for paid courses, provided you have not accessed more than 20% of the course content. Free courses are not eligible for a refund. To request a refund, you must contact us at [email protected] within the specified timeframe.

 

7. Termination of Service

 

The Academy reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to the services at our sole discretion, without notice, for any conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other students, instructors, or the Academy.

 

8. Governing Law

 

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii. Any legal disputes arising from these Terms of Service will be resolved in the courts of Hawaii.
